We made the short walk to church for Easter Mass outside under the tent. We always enjoy the atmosphere of St. Andrews' outdoor mass, held at the same time as an indoor mass.
After church it was time for the backyard Easter egg hunt. The contents of most eggs were carefully examined and sampled as the hunt progressed. Plans are in the works for more advanced hiding techniques next year as the boys become more savvy.
We spent the afternoon enjoying an Easter dinner up in Scottsdale with the Flynn's and family. The boys enjoyed what just may be a new Easter tradition. Nothing like a good wheelbarrow ride to top off a day filled with sweets!
