Our fourth of July weekend was less than stellar. All four of us were sick with some sort of nasty fluelike cold. Blech. Brandon came down with it on Tuesday night (the day we returned from Boise. Thank goodness we were home already!) Noah picked it up by Friday except his was manifested in his eyes...yes, our first bout of conjunctivitis. The adults have hand washed their way our of the eye infection thus far, but that left us home-bound trying to save others from catching this contagious illness.
What could we do but keep ourselves entertained at home (when we had the energy to do so, that is). Today the boys were working on their balance by standing on one leg while balancing plates on their hands. Our craft project of the day was making cats out of toilet paper tubes. Wish I would have taken a video instead of just a still shot...the boys' meows during picture taking were hilarious! Mommy's creativity skills are already taxed and our indoor summertime fun has just begun.
