Our Zoo does this great program where you get to arrive early to spend a little quality time with an animal. This month we breakfast'ed with the giraffes. We were lucky because they were all in their barn when we went to see them and even ate apples out of our hands! Brandon wasn't so sure about the length of her tongue as she grabbed the apple, and was a bit startled. He recovered, though, and showed me that his tongue wasn't quite as long as the giraffe's.
Dave and Noah spent the morning at the Botanical Garden since the zoo wasn't officially open yet. Noah enjoyed his wanders around the herb garden. Then, they joined us at the zoo for a carousel ride, a baby zebra sighting and an Orangutan watch.
