We took a short day trip out to Superior, AZ to hike one of our favorite places, Boyce Thompson Arboretum. Temps were still pretty warm but a little cooler here and plenty of shade. Very green with the monsoon rains.
Saw a lot of lizards on this trip including the colorful guy below.

Went into Superior for lunch at Los Hermanos Restaurant which we learned about on an Arizona Highways TV show. Topped it off with ice cream and a prickly pear milkshake (part of Superior's first annual Prickly Pear Festival).
