I wouldn't have thought that geocaching would be at the top of my list of things to do on Mother's Day, but surprisingly, it made the cut today!
After a delicious breakfast with the family, we decided to set out on a little adventure in geocaching. Maybe just a little nerdy, but still lots of fun and a great way to get outside as a family. Brandon took control of the GPS this time around and led us right to the cache...except we couldn't find it at first. You'd think it would be easy as pie to find a cache when the GPS leads you right to the spot. But that's not really the case when you don't know what you're looking for. After searching in tree crevices and underneath bushes, we finally discovered the cache magnetized to the bottom of the garbage can. Yuck.
We ended the day with a rousing game of Bocce Ball in our teeny tiny yard. Can't wait to bring that game camping. Just think of how far we could go!
We hope you all had a fabulous Mother's Day with your families!
