Darcy's wedding at the Grand Canyon

On Wednesday we travelled up to the Grand Canyon for my childhood friend's wedding. Darcy (Rindt) and Dan were married at Shoshone Point; a beautiful location for a ceremony. Before we went to the wedding, we took the boys over to Bright Angel Lodge so they could peek over the edge and experience the grandeur of the canyon. As were were staring in silence, Brandon asks, "Mommy, where's the Grand Canyon??" I guess we'll have to return when they're a bit older so they can fully appreciate the beauty!

After the ceremony, we walked out to Shoshone Point; a rather scary place to take a toddler. After a massive struggle with Noah, I finally convinced him that it was "too scary for babies" so I would have to hold him. He seemed fine with that, thank goodness!

That evening, the reception was held at the Maswik lodge where the boys danced their little hearts out. Noah took a liking to Shannon's daughter Cassidy and would only dance with her all night. Thanks to Savannah introducing Brandon to the joys of dancing at Adam's and Deana's wedding, he was first on the floor this time. The only thing missing was his red bow tie. Next time, little man.
